Critique of Criminal Reason

Critique of Criminal Reason, by Michael Gregorio
After reading a whole bunch of fast paced crime novels, this one felt a whole lot slower. However, it was interesting and by the time I got to the end, it was very hard to put down. It takes place in the early 1800's in Konigsberg (now Kaliningrad) in Prussia. It felt a lot like a Sherlock Holmes kind of thing, only the Detevtive in question is constantly feeling inadequate. I enjoyed this one, I might read more by Gregorio, but I don't htink I will pursue it vigorously.
